June 2012/Newly planted squashes at Mikes

Mike has planted hedges to divide his land into equal sized sections, partly to provide shelter from the wind. On his early land we have planted Cabbages, Caulis, Brussels Sprouts, Radishes, Spinach Beet, Beetroot, Spinach, Onions and Spring Onions, Coriander, Lettuce, Courgettes and Squashes, and have sown Radishes, Broad Beans, French Beans and Carrots. Here are some squashes, still very small, plus some salad crops covered up to protect them from hungry rabbits.
